Our History
The Kargil Heights programme is not new for Prayagraj. It all started in the year 2008. Our mentor N.K. Singh Sir started SSB classes free of cost for candidates those who qualified their written exams. He himself has been product of Military School Chail, now known as Rashtriya Military School Chail. A truly spirited Georgian, always dedicated to contribute to the best of his potential for this nation. His famous quotation is “Everyone is born to be a Hero, the Hero is one who ‘Dares to Dream’. A decade ago, one-third students appearing in SSB were from Allahabad region. Still today among the Hindi belt areas, Prayagraj has got the credit of maximum percentage of students clearing NDA, CDS, AFCAT, ICG, etc. and other written exams. But rejections in SSB has been too high and thus, success ratio is dismal. By the blessings of God and inspiration from martyred Chandra Sekhar Azad, evening classes for SSB were organised in the Company Garden i.e. Chandra Sekhar Azad Park. The first candidate from the very first batch got recommended and he was Anshul Kumar. Eleven candidates got recommendations in the first year. Thereafter, hundreds of candidates were provided counselling and guidance, which followed with astonishing results. The Journey of success of some of the candidates has been truly heroic and inspiring. The small experiment got transformed into an institution due to its staunch values and ethos. A journey which started with a single step traversed many milestones in transforming lives of several candidates.
